So this product came perfectly shrink wrapped in plastic and was tightly sealed with no leakages or spillage at all.

I bought just a 150 ml bottle since it was my first try. It comes with a flip cap bottle that seals well after each use, so it is perfectly suited for even travel purposes as well.

Top Ingredients and their Benefits

Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil ingredients

Here are the top two ingredients used in this hair oil:

Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil is rich in lauric acid and helps moisturize and nourish the hair strands and prevent hair loss by strengthening the hair from its roots. It can also help protect the hair from damage and relieve the hair from dryness and frizz, as it helps lubricate and coat each hair strand making it smoother and softer.

Aloe Vera Extract:

Aloe vera extract is a common ingredient added into hair care products because aloe vera can help protect the hair from damage because of its rich antioxidant properties.

It can also promote better hair strength and can bring back life and lustre to the hair. It can help prevent the hair from getting excessively greasy and can also contribute to hair growth.

How I rated the Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil

Whenever I review any products, I always make sure to choose some parameters to review them on, so that it will give the readers a better clarity on the product they are looking to buy.

Here are the parameters I chose to review this hair oil:

Moisturizing effect:

Since one of the promised benefits of using this hair oil is supposed to be deep conditioning and moisturization, this is an aspect I took into consideration.

Hair manageability:

Another promised benefit of using this hair oil is helping in the reduction of hair dryness and making the hair more manageable, with lesser frizz and tangles. So since my hair is dry and frizzy, I could review this parameter.

Hair strengthening power:

Strengthening the hair strands from its roots is the third promised benefit of using this hair oil. So since I do have hair fall, I kept this aspect in mind while reviewing this hair oil.

Product type and composition:

In this parameter I review whether this hair oil is light or heavy in nature. Here, I will also review the effects of some of its other ingredients.

Fragrance:

Since some of us use hair oils as a post-shower serum to keep frizz and flyaways at bay, the fragrance of the oil is very essential because harsh fragrances are most often not liked by most, including myself. So, I made sure to review this aspect.

Pricing:

Lastly, I will review whether this hair oil is worth the price paid or not, based on how effectively this product works and feels on the hair.

Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil Review

Over the last four months of me using this product at least once every week (while some weeks I had used it twice), I can definitely say that I did see some level of a good hair transformation.

So to start with how effective this hair oil is at its moisturization powers, well, I would definitely say it has strong moisturization and conditioning effects.

I would massage the warm oil in and leave it on my hair for around 30 minutes before I had a hair wash and my hair would dry up softer than ever each time.

In terms of hair strengthening, I did have quite a bit of hair fall previous to using this hair oil and while it didn’t completely stop my hair fall (which is not something any product can do, in my opinion), it definitely reduced my hair fall by a good percentage. Also, I happened to see the growth of new hair near my forehead, which was a bonus for me!

I often also used this hair oil like an after hair wash serum to help manage my frizz and flyaways (because I have lots of it) and while it did help make my hair more manageable and made my detangling process super easy.

Yes, it cut my hair brushing time by half. And using this hair oil as an after hair wash serum would make my hair feel greasy in no time. So this is something I didn’t like personally.

So, while coconut oil in general is lightweight in nature, I felt like the reason my hair was getting greasy very easily was because this hair oil contained mineral oil, which while it was beneficial.

It was also disadvantageous on certain counts, leaving a certain amount of buildup and grease on the hair after being used. It would also leave a certain amount of residue if not washed off properly with the shampoo.

In terms of this product’s fragrance, it did have a good scent of coconut oil, but the fact that the fragrance was blended with aloe vera made it a little strong and if not washed off properly, could leave a certain after scent.

Lastly, this product is worth its price, but still I did feel like it was rather on the expensive side for the quantity, as compared to other brands of coconut oil.

Overall, a good product that has its advantages outweigh its disadvantages for sure.

How to use the Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil?

I personally use this hair oil in two different ways. The first way is using it as a pre-hair wash treatment and the second way is using it as a post-hair wash serum.

To use for pre-hair wash: You can warm up in a bowl a little hair oil (you could also skip this step if you wish to as it is optional). Then, partition your hair and evenly apply this hair oil all over your scalp and hair.

Next, gently using your fingertips, massage it in with circular motions to promote blood circulation. Thereafter, leave it to rest in your hair for around 30 to 40 minutes, before washing your hair with a mild shampoo and conditioning as usual at the end.

To use for post-hair wash: After you’ve washed and dried your hair, to reduce frizziness and flyaways, you can take a few drops of this oil in your palm, rub your palms together and then rub it over your hair for a serum-like effect.

Is the Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil worth the price?

So, I bought this 150 ml bottle of hair oil on Amazon for $7.99. While I do think it is slightly on the more expensive side, as compared to other brands selling coconut oil, it still did serve the purpose and benefited my hair.

All in all, I would definitely say that this oil was worth the price paid and I’d definitely buy it again.
