This was probably because the cleanser contains ammonium sulfate instead of the harsh SLES and SLS, it’s great for sensitive scalps too as stated by the National Center for Biotechnology Information.
I also liked that despite having purple pigments that help cancel out the brassiness in your hair, this shampoo lathers white. So I didn’t have to worry about staining my shower or my hands while shampooing.
I was also surprised by the lovely aroma of ylang-ylang, lemon, and eucalyptus.

I just had one complaint, and it was this shampoo contains sulfates. So I wouldn’t recommend using it everyday or on scalps that are dry or sensitive.

But I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary with this shampoo. In fact, it’s very similar to Matrix and Joico Purple shampoos!
In fact, I noticed this shampoo has a very strong purple pigment.
I suggest rinsing your hair thoroughly, as this color depositing shampoo can leave behind a purple cast.
